Vingroup propose to PM to invest project in Cambodia in the field of 2,500 electric taxi services, and if approved by Cambodia government, it could be officially launched in March 2024 in Phnom Penh and further in Siem Reap also Sihanoukville Province.
Vingroup states above project during the meeting between Samdech Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup on the occasion of two-day official visit of PM Hun Manet to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
At the same time, the Prime Minister also encouraged company to consider the possibility of investing in the production of car components and spare parts in Cambodia for use in the car production chain in Vietnam.
