Samdech Thipdei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Kundin of Cambodia said the “special benefits” of the Royal Government provided in “investment projects that are involved in stagnant buildings”, included:
⁃ Income tax exemption, prepayment of tax on income and minimum tax for 3 years more
– Value-added tax (VAT) exemption at a rate of 0% for construction, completion, and renovation of stagnant buildings
– Withholding tax exemption on real estate lease for 5 years
– Property tax exemption and administrative sanction exemption
– Exemption of public service fees and land use index fees for construction related permit application
– Procedure facilitation and permit application from the competent authority related to construction work
– Providing favour on inspection fees and other certifications related to construction; investment facilitation and investment procedures and business procedures, including applying for licenses, certificates and permits
⁃ Developing policies and facilitating to establish markets to sell real estates at auction, as well as providing investor support services, including reference-price determination for real estates in Sihanoukville.
– And promoting the use of out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms in accordance with legal provisions for investment-related disputes.
