In a courtesy call and discussion on the work of Samdech Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Her Excellency Yaël BRAUN-PIVET, President of the French National Assembly, on the afternoon of January 18, 2024, on the occasion of PM official visit to Paris, the Republic of France, Her Excellency President of the French National Assembly, expressed her appreciation for the President’s initiative to establish a regional cultural center in Cambodia to serve French language training and dissemination of French culture to the people of the country in Asia, while Cambodia has a long history of relations with France and still an active country with a large French-speaking population.
In response, the PM expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended by the President of the French National Assembly and expressed his appreciation for the remarkable progress of relations between the two countries at all levels, especially the relationship between the executive and the legislature. The legislature, as well as close cooperation in the fields of education, culture, language and economy, etc.
