Samdech Prime Minister Hun Manet said that 42 months since 2020, the Royal Government has provided nearly 1,300 million US dollars in cash, which has helped about 70,000 families. And as the world is plagued by epidemics and economic problems due to the Russia-Ukraine war and the Middle East war. And since 2022, the Cambodia Government has also helped another 400,000 families affected by inflation.
The PM also stated that Cambodia’s policy is to make Cambodia live by own self , especially the goal of the new government is to reduce the poverty rate below 10 percent and to make Cambodia Have a high middle income by 2030 and become a rich country by 2050.
