According to the Hamas-run health ministry, Israel bombarded early on Friday Khan Younis, the main city in southern Gaza, killing 77 people.
The strikes came as Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed another attack on a US ship after the United States launched fresh strikes on rebel targets over their aggression towards vessels in and around the Red Sea.
